MAX Plan Details

We currently offer the following two plans:

Shared plan, 3-month / 12-month: Supports 4K playback. Every slot has its own private viewing history, and you can set a personal PIN code to protect your privacy and viewing experience.

The account can be signed in on multiple device types, but only one device per type โ€” for example, one phone at a time โ€” and it can only be used on one device at a time. To protect your access, please do not change any account details (slot number or password) while using the service.

How Do I Sign In?

On mobile: Open the Max app โ†’ tap Sign in โ†’ enter the email and password from your subscription.

TV code login: If your TV doesn't let you type in an email and password, the screen will display a login code and a URL (e.g. tv.hbomax.com). โ†’ Open that URL in a browser on your computer or phone โ†’ Enter the code shown on your TV screen โ†’ Sign in with your Max account email and password โ†’ Once authorized, you can start watching.

Which Devices Are Supported?

Max works on phones, tablets, computers, smart TVs, game consoles, and many other devices.

Can I Watch Offline?

Yes! Max offers a download feature โ€” once you're signed in, you can download titles to your mobile device and watch them offline.

What Video Quality Is Supported?

Up to 4K UHD, HDR10, and Dolby Vision, with Dolby Atmos support (compatible device required).
